WhatsApp™ campaigns
One message written once, sent to the right families.
A circular addressed by class, by year group or to the whole school — as a batch email and as ready-to-click WhatsApp™ links, sent from the school itself, with no group chat.
Circulars, meeting invitations, surveys: the Scoliom Communication module prepares the messages you send to families — emails go out as a batch, and WhatsApp™ messages are generated as ready-to-send links, approved by hand. With each family's consent, in line with the GDPR and local regulations.
The note folded away at the bottom of a schoolbag, the message copied out in a hurry: some families never hear about it at all. Meetings nobody attends, permission slips missing — and the school finds out on the day of the event.
Class groups set up by parents, where rumours and late-night messages circulate and everyone's phone number is on show to everyone else. The school controls neither the content, nor the tone, nor the protection of personal data.
Who received the invitation? Who confirmed they were coming? With no tracking, the front office contacts families one by one before every meeting — hours lost, and still no certainty that the message ever arrived.

Your circulars, with attachments.
Information notes, calendars and PDF documents sent in one go, to the addresses held in the family record.
Meetings and appointments confirmed in advance.
Every family receives its invitation and replies to confirm attendance; you follow the responses at a glance.
What families think, within a few hours.
School meals, transport, a school trip: one question goes out, families reply, and you bring the answers together for the leadership.
Prepared, sent: every campaign accounted for.
Failed emails (wrong address) are flagged to the front office, which corrects the record and sends again; WhatsApp™ links already sent are ticked off as you go.
Agreements recorded, the rules respected.
Each family chooses its channels; refusals and opt-outs (STOP) are recorded and honoured on every send, in line with the GDPR and local regulations.
Scoliom Communication is not one more piece of software to buy, install and then maintain: it is already built, and we configure it for your school — your classes, your message templates, your consents — as part of your Scoliom IT management contract. Parent notifications (WhatsApp & email) are part of the school management foundation: they are included from the Scoliom Essentiel plan onwards — “running the school” — and its amount is settled on request, in writing, after the remote assessment.
What Scoliom Essentiel covers: the plan includes parent notifications (WhatsApp & email) together with the student database, billing & arrears reminders and online enrolment & re-enrolment. The family space is part of the platform from Scoliom Logiciel; Sérénité adds a single access code per family for all its children, and the AI family assistant remains a separate service. Scope, data migration, training and support are confirmed in writing after the remote assessment. The amount depends on your student numbers, your country and the scope you choose; it stays fixed for the whole school year, and there is never any billing per student.
From the parent space, families request a school certificate, an enrolment or re-enrolment certificate, a leaving certificate, the correction of a detail, or an appointment. They choose the child, explain the request and follow its status: sent, in progress, more detail requested, accepted or declined. They can attach a file to the request, then to each follow-up asked of them — three at most.
The school handles them in a family requests tab: a queue, overdue requests flagged, a decision and a written reply — a refusal always states its reason. Accepting a certificate request does not issue anything by itself: the office then issues the document, verifiable by QR code. School leadership opens or closes the service and sets the response time announced to families. Included in every plan.
The office ticks or unticks “accepts WhatsApp” in each guardian's record, and the list flags those who refuse it. Updating the record without touching consent leaves it unchanged.
Yes. Messages go out from the school's own account to each family individually: no group, and no phone numbers on show to other parents. Only families who have given their agreement are contacted, in line with the GDPR and the local personal data protection rules that apply.
In management contracts, training is included (with the Scoliom Logiciel plan it is an option, priced in the same quote): we train the front office, the school life team and the leadership remotely, in French and in Arabic if needed. Sending a campaign or an invitation takes a few minutes to learn; written guides stay available to the team.
We take on what already exists: student lists, family contact details and consents are imported, even part-way through the school year. The module works alongside your current tools through file imports: we import the export files produced by your current platform or your previous software (the exact mechanism is set out at the assessment), cutting down on retyping and keeping disruption for families to a strict minimum.
A simple exchange to understand your situation — circulars, group chats, the tools you use today. You receive a written review of where things stand and a first budget estimate, with no commitment — see how the school IT assessment works.
