New · A Scoliom Scolarité module

Taking the register takes a minute. The family knows before the lesson ends.

In a private school, an absence nobody can explain puts the school's responsibility on the line from the very first lesson. The attendance module of Scoliom Scolarité gives the teacher a register for each period, gives the family a notification and a way to send the absence note straight from a phone, gives the school life office a decision with a reason attached — and gives the head an attendance record fit to be shown to anyone. Interface and family space in French, English and Arabic, right-to-left display included.

  • One register per period — the class list is pre-filled, everyone present to begin with, one tap per absent student, one confirmation for the whole class
  • The family told within the minute — no more ring-round from the front office at the end of the morning
  • The absence note sent in as a photo — the document arrives attached to the right date, rather than at the bottom of a school bag
  • A decision with a reason, and one the family can read — school life accepts or turns down the note, and the family sees why

The module works in periods, not half-days: it settles in alongside the tools you use today, and schools that are already equipped import their absences from a file rather than typing them out again.

The circuit, from end to end

Four steps that replace a morning of phone calls

1

The teacher takes the register

The class, the date and the time are already set, and the list opens with everyone present. All that is left is to flag the students who are missing, then confirm once for the whole class.

2

The family is told

The message goes out to the guardian the moment the register is confirmed, straight to their phone: nobody in the front office has to work through a list of numbers.

3

The absence note comes back

The guardian photographs the document in the app; it files itself against the right absence, dated and time-stamped.

4

School life decides

The note is accepted or turned down, always with a written reason the family can read: no more file left hanging with no explanation.

For the leadership

What the head can follow, and what the head can show

An attendance record that keeps itself

By class, by year group, by term.

Every register taken feeds a history you can look up and export, showing the students whose absences keep repeating — enough to call a family in, build a case or answer a request from the education authority without going through ring binders. For each student, the year's absences also sit in their online student record, alongside their marks and the documents issued to them.

Every family in its own language

Right-to-left display included.

The staff screens and the guardians' app read in French, English and Arabic: a parent receives the message and sends in the absence note without anyone having to translate a thing.

Medical documents properly filed

Each guardian sees only their own children.

A doctor's note is sensitive data: the documents sent in are kept outside the public area of the site, beyond the reach of a guessed address, on hosting located in the European Union — in the spirit of the GDPR and of the data protection rules that apply in your country.

New

New: a school-life role for the register

School-life supervisors now have their own role: they take the register for any class and keep the absence register; they can view the timetable grids and the calendar without changing them, and nothing else. Their account is created from their staff record, by choosing the role.

Let's get started

Put the register and the attendance record in place before the new school year

A remote demonstration is enough to see a class register being taken, the message that reaches the family, an absence note being sent in and the school life decision — all on fictional data.
