Follow an ordinary day in a well-equipped school.

Four moments, four modules — and each time the same principle: less paper, less waiting, families informed in real time. All screenshots come from the platform, on fictional data.

07:40 The week’s lessons

Timetable & cover

The week’s grid, colour-coded by subject, reads by class, by teacher or by room; a lesson that would put a class, a teacher or a room in two places at once is refused before it is saved. A teacher off sick? For each of their lessons that day you choose cover, supervised study or cancellation, and the day sheet prints for the staff room. Included in every plan.

Scoliom professional modules

Three modules school leaders ask about first

Each module stands on its own — and they all share the same student base. Scoliom is that software; if you wish, the same team also looks after your IT, with written commitments.

Module

Scoliom Billing

Tuition collected, arrears under control — in your school’s own currency.

Tuition fees, payment schedules, payments, receipts — and a dedicated collections screen: families with an outstanding balance, courteous reminders sent by email or WhatsApp from the school's own channels, and payment promises recorded and followed up. Critical in higher education, where tuition fees are high.

Scoliom payments desk: collected this month, collected today, overdue instalments and outstanding balance by class

Module

Scoliom Enrolment

Online applications, enrolment and re-enrolment, every file under control.

Online applications, enrolment and re-enrolment, document checks, one-click reminders for families and students running late, prepared for you and sent only once you have read them over, then straight into billing — the full cycle, with no paperwork left behind.

Module

Scoliom Documents & certificates

Certificates recorded in the school's register, verifiable by QR code.

School and leaving certificates (exeat), bilingual French / Arabic, on the school's letterhead with its authorisation number, generated one pupil at a time (school certificates, in French, also for a whole class), carrying a verification QR code: a bank, an employer or an authority checks the document against the school's register in 2 seconds. Delivered to the family's portal space and logged in a central register — the front office runs the process instead of managing a queue.

Remote Digital Assessment

A remote digital assessment, with a written report that belongs to your school

Everything starts with the Scoliom Digital Assessment — remote, with no commitment. A simple exchange, with a written reply within 48 working hours. You receive a written review, a 30/90/180-day action plan and a budget estimate — the document belongs to your school.

  1. First exchange

A simple exchange to understand your situation: we reply within 48 working hours, with nothing booked at this stage. If we are not the right partner, we say so.

  2. Remote assessment

A 45-minute video call, completed by a guided questionnaire: we review your tools, your network and your backups, without asking for any access to your systems. The review is handed to you in writing.

  3. Proposal within 10 working days

We build an action plan tailored to your school, scheduled around the school calendar — every work date is agreed with you, away from exam periods. Scope, service commitments, monthly fee: everything is set down in writing. You decide, with no persistent chasing.

  4. A gentle start

A documented handover of what already exists — inventory, access, current contracts — keeping interruptions during lessons to a strict minimum. Your teams keep their habits: we take back control of the technical side, not of their tools.

Frequently asked questions

What school leaders ask us

Scoliom works with private schools: independent schools, French-curriculum schools and international schools — primary, middle and secondary. Our contacts are usually heads of school, bursars and finance directors, and IT managers.

No: nothing goes out without an action by the school. An arrears reminder goes out on a click, through the school's own channels, and a minimum interval separates two reminders to the same family: sending is refused before then. A circular or an invitation goes out when the school sends it. Warning families about a timetable change is decided day by day. The absence notice comes from the register. No reminder goes out on its own — and in the demo, no message is actually sent.

Four plans, each including the previous one, all quoted individually: Scoliom Logiciel — the platform on its own, run by your teams; Scoliom Essentiel — the school run for you; Scoliom Sérénité — the connected school; Scoliom Direction Numérique — the school steered end to end. The amount depends on your headcount — counted in bands of 100 students, with never a per-student charge —, on your country and on the scope you choose, and it is set out in a written quotation after the remote assessment. A fixed monthly fee, everything included within the agreed scope, no surprise invoice and no revision during the school year.

We take over what exists in a documented way: inventory, credentials, current contracts, keeping interruptions during lessons to a strict minimum. If you have a technician on staff, we work alongside them — supervision, security, projects — not in their place.

No. Our principle is to start from what you already run: we connect to the tools in place — Pronote™, Eduka™, learning environments, office software — through one-way file imports and whatever connectors the tool offers (the exact mechanism is confirmed during the assessment). We only recommend replacing something when it is genuinely warranted. Continuity of service during the school year is an absolute priority. The timetable, for its part, is imported from an .ics file or an Excel list (.xlsx), one line per lesson: a preview shows what will be written, and doubtful cases are put to you, never guessed.

Always with the Scoliom Digital Assessment, remote and with no commitment: a 45-minute video call completed by a guided questionnaire, in which we review your equipment, your network, your backups and your administrative processes. You then receive a written review and a prioritised road map, and you decide on the scope and the pace. Commercial enquiries: a reply within 48 working hours.

In management contracts, we train your teams ourselves (with the Scoliom Logiciel plan it is an option, priced in the same quote): leadership, student affairs, administration and teaching staff. Training takes place remotely, with material suited to each role. The aim is for the school to be fully self-sufficient, not dependent on its provider.

Your data belongs to you and can be exported at any time. When the contract ends, we return all of it within 15 days, in standard, usable formats (Excel, CSV, SQL, PDF), then delete it from the platform within 30 days, with written confirmation. Reversibility is planned from the very start.
