Managed IT for French-curriculum schools in Morocco

Mock baccalaureate, orals, class councils, Pronote™, digital workspaces, demanding families: your school lives to the rhythm of the French school calendar. Scoliom has made that its speciality — one French-speaking point of contact who knows your tools and your deadlines from the inside.

What is at stake

A French-curriculum school is not a school like any other

Running the IT of a French-curriculum school in Morocco means working with very specific constraints — ones that general providers often discover far too late.

The French examination calendar

Mock baccalaureate, practice orals, class councils, marks collection: the year is punctuated by non-negotiable deadlines set by the French education calendar. Every IT project has to be planned around them — dates are agreed with the leadership in advance.

Days that allow no margin for error

On the day of a mock baccalaureate or an oral, everything has to respond: servers, workstations, printing, attendance sheets, results entry. A breakdown at that moment cannot be made up for — it is prevented, through continuous monitoring, updates that are actually followed, and systematic checks before every deadline.

Pronote™, Eduka™, digital workspaces: tools of their own

Student life, marks, billing and communication all rest on tools specific to the French education ecosystem. Configuring them, connecting them to each other (imports and exports, connectors depending on the tool) and fixing them means using them every day — not discovering them on arrival at your school.

What families expect

Families at these schools expect communication beyond reproach: summons that arrive on time, report cards they can reach, official information they can rely on. Every digital failure turns immediately into a question of trust between the school and the parents.

GDPR: data belonging to European nationals

Your files hold data belonging to European nationals: on top of Moroccan law 09-08, the GDPR applies to your processing. That double compliance has to be built — data minimisation, information to families, access traceability, documented processing.

Hosting in the European Union

For the solutions we deploy, hosting sits on servers located in the European Union, with TLS encryption and backups that are actually tested: a choice consistent with your school's regulatory framework and with what your families expect.

What Scoliom brings

A partner who knows the French school from the inside

Not a general provider discovering your context: a schools specialist whose methods are aligned with your calendar, your tools and your regulatory obligations.

Digitising administrative processes

Mock exams — room allocation, summons, invigilation, attendance — student life, family communication: we take the paper out of the processes that tie up your teams, working alongside your existing tools through file imports and exports, so that less has to be typed twice.

Security & backups

Automated backups that are tested, a documented restore procedure, hardened access, teams made aware: your information system is followed over time — instead of waiting for the breakdown.

Documented compliance

Law 09-08 and the GDPR: we deploy solutions designed from the outset to meet both sets of requirements, and we support the school in its own steps — documenting processing, informing families, tracing access.

The plans

Four levels of service, one fixed monthly fee

Scoliom Logiciel — “the equipped school” (the platform on its own, marks & report cards included), Scoliom Essentiel — “running the school”, Scoliom Sérénité — “the connected school”, Scoliom Direction Numérique — “the steered school”: every plan includes one point of contact, a fixed monthly fee with no surprise billing, incident response times written into the contract, and projects aligned with the school calendar. For a school that wants to connect its families — family space, documents verifiable by QR code — Scoliom Sérénité is the most natural starting point; multi-site organisations turn to Scoliom Direction Numérique, with consolidated oversight and leadership advice playing the part of an outsourced IT department. Each of these four plans is quoted individually: the amount depends on the number of pupils, the country and the scope agreed, it is confirmed in writing after the remote assessment, then stays fixed for the whole school year — never billed per pupil.

Let us get started

Start with a remote assessment of your school

First step: a simple conversation — your enquiry books no visit, and the conversation happens remotely. We reply within 48 working hours, and a visit on site in Morocco is only scheduled with your agreement (no access to your data and no password is asked for at this stage). We review your equipment, your network, your backups and your administrative processes — including your examination processes — then you receive a written report, risks ranked by priority, a 30/90/180-day action plan and a first budget estimate. The document is yours, whether you go on to work with us or not.
