What Scoliom does not do — and what it does instead

A publisher writing down what its software does not do is rare. We do it for two reasons: to spare you a disappointment after signing, and to give you a commitment — nothing on this page will ever be sold to you as existing.

No automatic timetable generation

The grid is built by hand, by class, teacher and room, and clashes are refused before saving. It can also be imported from an .ics file or an Excel list, with a preview of what will be written.

No arrears reminder that goes out on its own

The reminder is prepared, reviewed and sent with one click by the school, through its own channels. A minimum interval separates two reminders to the same family: sending is refused before then.

No chat assistant inside the platform

An assistant for families can be built as a separate service, on quotation. It is not part of any plan.

No single account for parents, students and teachers

Each group has its own access. For families, a single code opens the space of all their children, in the Sérénité plan and above.

No timetable sent by email or text message

The school publishes the grid; families read it in their space, for tomorrow and the next seven days. The school can warn them of a change through the app, day by day.

No student access to the timetable

Teachers have their own timetable view and a pre-filled register; families have their space.

No synchronisation with a ministry system

The import recognises the column headings of your current files, in French as in Arabic: your lists are not typed in again.

No GPS tracking of buses

Transport is managed by routes, stops, seats and instalments.

This page follows the product: when a feature reaches production, it leaves this list — never before. To judge for yourself, open a demo: in the demo, no message is actually sent.

Everything starts with the remote assessment: a 45-minute video call, a written review and a road map — with no commitment.
